Lopi Eyjar Sweater

A striking Icelandic yoke sweater inspired by island landscapes, combining softness with bold, graphic colour-work.

The Eyjar sweater, designed by Védís Jónsdóttir, takes its name from the Icelandic word for islands, reflected in its distinctive yoke pattern and natural colour palette. It is worked in Plötulopi by Lopi, a unique unspun yarn that creates an exceptionally light yet warm fabric with a beautifully soft halo.

The body rib is worked back and forth in two pieces, then joined to work the body in the round, with sleeves and yoke completed in the round.
