Tulip | Someiyoshino Wooden Sewing Box

Tulip Someiyoshino Wooden Sewing Box

Some things are made to be used. Others are made to be kept.

The Tulip Someiyoshino sewing box is both.

Considered. Crafted. Enduring.

Rooted in the Japanese tradition of caring for tools, this box is designed not just to store, but to honour the objects inside it. A place for everything — and a reason to keep it.

Made from paulownia wood, often called “living wood”, the box allows its contents to breathe. It’s a material long used in Japan to protect delicate and valuable items — from kimono fabrics to ceramics.

Lightweight. Stable. Naturally beautiful.

Each piece is hand-painted in Kyoto using traditional patterns, echoing the quiet elegance found in Japanese textiles and craft.

Inside, a collection of carefully made sewing tools.

Functional. Beautiful. Meant to last.

Many of the accessories are crafted using repurposed kimono silk, giving each set a unique character. No two are quite the same.
