An exclusive McIntosh knitting kit
This tartan T-shirt is worked in a slip stitch pattern and has embroidered chain stitch details over the ridges of the garter and stocking stitch pattern to enhance the tartan effect.
The sleeves are 'grown' onto the side of the body panels, and corrugated rib trims added to the armholes and neck.
- Image shows T-shirt in colour-ways: Bluestack, Ardara and Mountcharles in McIntosh Donegal Rich Tweed 4-Ply hand-dyed wool.
- To Fit Bust: 71-76cm (28-30"), 81-91cm (32-36"), 97-107cm (38-42"), 112-127cm (44-50"), 132-147cm (52-58")
- 1 pair 3.00mm / USA size 2-3 single pointed knitting needles, 2 stitch holders, tapestry needle required for pattern.
Kit contains:
- 4[4,4,4,6] x 100g (400m) individually hand-dyed skeins of McIntosh Donegal Rich Tweed 4-Ply as stated in kit purchase options.
- McIntosh tote bag.
- McIntosh label with care instructions.
Donegal Rich Tweed by McIntosh is a luxurious hand-dyed wool composed of 87% wool spun together with 13% Donegal nep.
Pattern: Pattern available in issue 212 of The Knitter Magazine
Knitting from a skein: wind each skein into a ball before knitting. We recommend leaving the wool in skein form until prior to knitting to protect the fibre tension.
A note on colour: as yarn colours vary in different lighting conditions and electronic screens vary too, there may be a slight variation in the product colour. As all of our yarn is hand-dyed, each batch is as unique as you are. We recommend alternating between 2 skeins as you knit throughout the garment.
Care instructions: hand wash in cool water and lay flat to dry.
Returns: we want you to be thrilled with McIntosh. If not, we will refund or change your yarn within 60 days. Simple.
